Basic payment account
The basic payment account is intended for foreigners of over 15 years of age who do not have an open transaction or personal account in the Republic of Slovenia. It provides basic banking services.

Which services can be arranged for with a basic payment account?
- deposit of funds to the payment account,
- cash withdrawal from the payment account at a bank or ATM,
- SEPA direct debits,
- Activa Visa Inspire debit card transactions (including online transactions),
- credit payments (both domestic and cross-border payment transactions), including standing orders, payments at the bank and through online and mobile banking,
- invoice payment, managing personal finances and ordering banking services through the online or mobile banking.
The basic payment account includes only the above-mentioned services. The rest of the services, such as loans, deposits, overdrafts (basic and specially agreed overdraft), credit cards, prepaid cards, etc., cannot be concluded within the basic payment account.
This is not a multi-currency account; banking services within this account are only available in the local currency (euro).
